Static-Safe Work

ESD Lab Tables in Bangalore for Electronics Assembly & Precision Work

Monsoon Modular manufactures ESD lab tables in Bangalore for static-sensitive electronics and precision work environments. Our grounded, static-dissipative workbenches are ideal for electronics assembly, PCB and SMT production lines. They are also suitable for repair, testing, inspection and rework stations where static control is essential. Each workstation is designed to help protect sensitive electronic components from electrostatic discharge.

Table sizes, layouts, accessories and configurations can be customised according to your workspace requirements. Integrated cable management, grounding provisions and equipment-support options can be incorporated as required.

ESD Lab Tables in Bangalore

ESD Lab Tables with Static-Dissipative Worktops & Grounding

An ESD lab table is a workbench with a static-dissipative worktop and a grounding point, built to safely drain electrostatic charge away from components during electronics assembly, testing or repair. Monsoon Modular manufactures them in Bengaluru with worktop resistance in the 10⁶ to 10⁹ ohm range, a grounding cord to a common point ground, and optional shelving, CPU trolleys and drawer storage.

Bench formats

Single-bay, double-sided or rework bench

Format is chosen based on line throughput, process type and how many operators share the same bench.

Format 01

Single-bay bench

One operator per bench with dedicated grounding, shelving and storage — suited to rework, QC and R&D stations.

Format 02

Double-sided bench

Two operators share a bench back-to-back on a common grounded worktop, for higher seat density on assembly floors.

Format 03

In-line SMT bench

Benches join end-to-end along a process flow, each stage grounded independently for continuous-line static control.

Where it fits

Built for static-sensitive electronics work

ESD lab tables are specified wherever components or boards susceptible to electrostatic discharge are handled, assembled or tested.

Why custom-built

Why electronics lines are fitted with ESD-safe benches

Standardised, interlocking components rather than fixed carpentry — which changes how a static-control area can be sized, expanded or re-laid.

Protects static-sensitive components

A grounded, dissipative worktop drains charge safely away from boards and components before it can discharge into them.

Supports a full static-control program

Bench, wrist strap and floor mat grounding points are specified together to form a complete, auditable ESD path.

Built for continuous line use

Reinforced frames and durable worktops are specified for daily assembly-line or repair-bench duty, not occasional bench work.

Fits SMT and rework lines alike

The same bench module supports high-throughput SMT stations and single-unit rework or QC benches, sized to the process.

Cable and tool storage built in

CPU trolleys, overhead shelving and drawer storage keep tools, meters and fixtures within reach without cluttering the worktop.

Easy to reconfigure or expand

Modular joints mean a static-control area can be extended or re-laid as a line changes, without replacing the benches.

How the static-control path works

From worktop to common point ground

An ESD bench only protects components when the full grounding path is connected — this is the sequence we design and wire on-site.

Static-dissipative worktop

The bench surface is manufactured with a controlled surface resistance so charge bleeds away gradually rather than discharging suddenly.

Grounding point & ground cord

A dedicated grounding stud on the worktop connects via a resistor-protected ground cord to the room’s common point ground.

Common point ground

Bench, wrist strap and floor mat grounding cords are tied to a single common point, which is then connected to facility earth.

Materials & construction

Single-bay, double-sided or rework bench

Tabletops are built on engineered wood cores, finished in laminate or veneer to match your office interiors. Legs and bases use powder-coated metal or panel-clad wood construction, sized for the footfall a shared meeting room sees through the day.

Cable management is planned into the table at design stage — grommets, in-table trays and optional power/data/HDMI modules positioned to suit your video-conferencing setup and seating plan.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Excited to meet you in person! Come visit us at our office to discuss your new design. We’re looking forward to connecting face-to-face.

What is the difference between a meeting room table and a conference table?

Meeting room tables are generally sized for smaller, day-to-day spaces such as huddle rooms, team rooms and breakout areas, typically seating 4 to 10 people, while conference tables are built for larger boardrooms with 10 to 24 seats and a more formal, executive finish.

Who manufactures meeting room tables in Bangalore?

Monsoon Modular manufactures meeting room tables in-house at its Bangalore facility, supplying corporate offices, IT companies and co-working spaces with tables custom sized to specific room dimensions and team sizes.

Can meeting room tables be built for video conferencing?

Yes. Tables can be built with in-table cable grommets, power and data points and camera/microphone-friendly layouts, positioned to suit video-conferencing equipment and screen placement in the room.

What shapes are available for meeting room tables?

Rectangular, round, oval and modular foldable formats are manufactured, chosen based on room size, seating count and whether the room needs to be reconfigured for different meeting types.

How many people does a typical meeting room table seat?

Meeting room tables are built to order, typically seating between 4 and 10 people depending on room size, with smaller huddle tables seating 2 to 4 for quick discussions.

Are Monsoon Modular meeting room tables certified?

Yes. Tables are manufactured under ISO 9001:2005, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 systems and meet BIFMA Level 1 and Level 2 performance standards.
